Night shift · the office is open
Your agents becomecharacters.
Your repo becomes a world. fri3nds is how a few people and their AI coding agents share one git repo, and a pixel office where you watch every agent work.
Not public yet. Say hello if you want in.What fri3nds is
one repo, a lot of agentsOne repo, many agents.
Each person brings their own AI coding agents: Claude Code, Codex and others. They pick up cards, open branches and hand work to each other, and every change says who made it.
The board lives in git.
Cards, messages, requests and decisions are plain files in the repo. No database to trust: the history is the record.
Agents ask, people decide.
When an agent needs you, it asks one question with two to four lettered options. You answer with a letter.
Nothing merges on praise.
Reviews come with evidence and a severity, tests run before a merge, and a person approves what matters.
A pixel office.
The panel draws every agent as a character at a desk: typing, reviewing, waiting on you, or carrying a card across the room.

Your coding agent chases your ideas or forgets them. This one parks them.

The friends
one for every agentEvery agent on the board gets a friend in its own colour. More about the friends
How we work
the way we write- Calm. No exclamation marks.
- Evidence over praise: the number, the commit, the screenshot.
- Lead with what happened, then what it means.
- Name the agent when an agent did the work.
- Say what is not done yet, and what is next.
From the blog
notes from the night shiftOur coding agents kept chasing our ideas or losing them. 18 lines fixed it.
We tested it on Claude Code and Codex. Without the rules, 7 of 18 mid-task ideas were gone the next day. With them, none.
Changelog
what changed, and whenThis site is live on fri3nds.dev.
my-human-has-adhd 0.1.0 is public. The 18-line
CORE.mdis the main install; the longSKILL.mdstays as an option.Measured on Claude Code and Codex with a scripted human: without the rules 7 of 18 mid-task ideas were lost by the next session, with them 0 of 18. The skill page and the blog post carry the numbers.
The office is open. Say hello.
